RAGE, by Allyvia

Rage is like a fluttery bird in my breast
Yet it is also a poisonous sludge coating my veins
Making me wild and savage
But I must smother this fire bird
Hushing it's weak cries as it dies
For I must not lose my cool
And vomit forth my feelings of fury
For if I do I am accused of being bad and not in control
But I cannot help it!
Sometimes my grip is too shaky to crush the life of my fire bird
And so the words of frustration cut the inside of my mouth as I whisper them aloud
